How to join the NSOA
We welcome all people interested in the Squib class to join the National Squib Owners Association. The NSOA promotes the Squib class and works very hard to maintain its status as a much admired and successful keelboat sailed and raced mostly in England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland and elsewhere in the world.
We work with the RYA in the best interests of Squibs. Much unsung effort and many hours are contributed by the NSOA Officers and Committee for the benefit of all who sail Squibs. Please reward their efforts by joining the Association.
We offer two types of membership of the NSOA - Full and Associate.
For a Squib to be eligible to race at all at least one of its owners must be a full member of the Association.
Associate membership is for people interested in the Squib Class or people who wish to helm at a specified championship event.
Full members benefit from Squibble, a biannual magazine, eSquibber, our electronic newsletter plus entitlement to vote at General Meetings of the class and the right to helm at any event.
We encourage Co-owners to take up full membership as otherwise they do not receive any benefits. They still are required to become Associates if they wish to receive Squibble and eSquibber and/or helm at a specified championship event.
The sub for Full Members is £35.00 / €40.00 and for Associate Members is £30.00 / €34.00
Please use as appropriate, the Sterling application form or the Euro application form below:
Membership questions should be addressed to the Membership Secretary, Penny Robinson,
