Just started playing this and its addictive. I have 2 boats in the race 1 with all the credits and one without and have been up to the early 100s and down to the 50000. Am not sure how many there are but my sister is lying 125000 so I assume there must be at least 200000. One bad tack and that’s another 5000 boats lost. Just banging a corner now so whish me luck. If any other Squibers are playing my boat names are crossfire797 and misfire. I think you can still join this leg although its already started Web address is www.volvooceanracegame.org |

VORG Leg 4 results so far (out of 125,000 competitors): Mutley68 (Simon - Burnham fleet)-12320, Misfire (Dave - SCYC) - 17253, Klipbok 89 (Emmet) - 25637 and a new addition is Lady Electra (Andy - Burnham fleet) is currently lying 65683 with 779 miles to Qingdao. Dave and I were disappointed that Fluker hadn't arrange a party at Qingdao but hopefully will coax him in for Leg 5 which is a monster - 6 week marathon. Be warned it is very addictive.... |

Addictive isn't the word! It's great fun. I know I've lost a 20 places on a bad beat before but when you gain and lose 4000 places overnight it's hilarious! Klipbok89 (Klipbok was taken by my smart-arsed crew Neil...he rang to ask me if I'd heard of the game last year...before he did that, he registered Klipbok!) |

Sadly cannot lay on a party myself but brother Piers, who lives in Qingdao says all squibbers are welcome at his place |

I thought I'd register interest having come 11509th in Guy Fawkes. There are 4 additional Burnham boats to the ones mentioned to date. Barrakukudada and Dixie Normus are Jason and Steve from Dixie 292. SeaWeed is Jason's son harry and you can guess what relation Dixie Small Really is to Steve. |

There are about ten RVYC boats in this: Abnorm, Zoe Marie, Team Prime, Firecracker Too, Firestreak, lizwiz , big dog2 and several others. I am keeping a respectable Mid Fleet Charlie stance on all this. Varying degrees of fortune made more problematic when rock hopping in the Straits of Taiwan! My sister in law's sister in law doesn't sail and she finished this leg in about 3,400th!! Some wives are petitioning for divorce already I hear. See you leg 5? Happy New year from a "Snowy" Isle if Wight (unheard off). Andrew P |

I have set up a forum called squibs if any one wants to join. I seem to be loosing track of how many we now have and who is sailing what boat These are what I can work out so far just encase people are trying to make friends with you and you haven’t a clue who they are Missfire - myself Dave - SCYC, Smackerel – Charlie - SCYC Klipbok 89 - Emmet – Howth Mutley68 – Simon - Burnhan Lady Electra – Andy – Burnham Guy Fawkes – Phil - Burnham Barrakukudada - Jason - Burnham Dixie Normus - Steve - Burnham SeaWeed –Harry – Burnham Firecracker Too – Andrew – RVYC Abnorm -RVYC Zoe Marie -RVYC Team Prime -RVYC Firestreak - Sally -RVYC Lizwiz -RVYC big dog2 -RVYC Emmet it looks like we are a bit outnumbered here maybe we should amalgamate clubs to stand a chance By the way Andrew if you happen to come across Firercracker4513, that’s me sister so can sit on her wind What are the names of all the people sailing the other RVYC boats |
