Well this is year 3 in life of Ogo Pogo and we learn nothing much more  from our fellow squibbers at SCYC. Its time to strike out on
our own and discover for ourselves what makes the Squib Tick . The faint possibility that we may get better sailcloth will force the issue of
using   flatter sails and shallower luff round that will focus attention on tighter rigs maybe? or not! . We dont understand yet the absolute control
of boatspeed so  installing a furler to save jib life and thus cost is a good excuse to embark on re -tuning OGO POGO.

We are newbies so what do we know, we will discover   we hope with  the  aid  of a tuning partner  what  are the secrets  of making  it quick in
all conditions.  So we are looking for a tuning partner at SCYC who will share the experience and in doing so will also share the speed. The vagaries of racing in the bay  with tide, the competition  very quickly identifies  that one mistake is forgivable but two and its chips. Poor boatspeed  its  disaster !

Anyone seriously intersested in sharing  full partnership tuning call me my numbers in the SCYC HANDBOOK. Meanwhile we start  next weekend at
May 3 day regatta in the run down to the Nationals 2007 . NB The tuning sessions will be outside normal racing times.
