Well we made it, OGO POGO, the two wounded soldiers and the loyal wives arrived in splendid weather.

The body beautiful was honed to perfection but the wife was not convinced, so we sat around for hours

waiting for the wind and when it came oh boy , will the body cope with this. Force 4 and a relatively steep

sea. Gate start SCYC style , pulled everything in eventually , its doesn't point John! look at that luff round

surely its got to be tighter than that. We have to tack , what was that called "a crap tack" and so it went on.

 

So late on the water missed the Gerrard giving  of money  to Rasco and recieving "Flossy"a look alike sheep with

oriface from Rasco. So missed the drinks all round and the  bon amis.Photos elsewhere of the mini event. Suffice it to

say I gave everyone water who wanted it including Starboard calls  since my new traveller was locking up and being

rope bound for most of the weekend. Frantic mods to the furler to gain some speed and pointing was achieved on the

final day to give us hope for the next outing. 8 Races in 4 days thats a Nationals already  and I am still alive whoopee!

 

The body was not pained in any way except my wifes understandable concern for  my continued income stream and

reduction in spend on things Nautical. Now that is a pain. Well this is my last note on things thrombotic . I am still

having fitness pains from exercises of greater exhertion . I have lost about 6 lbs in weight all due to fitness exercises

and less beer. Remember there are no pockets in shrowds....lets all enjoy the moment...and keep taking the tablets.
