 February 15th
Well I woke this morning to the Great Wogan who in his usual way said "take a deep breath , still
got a beat yes?....here are the Bee Gee's with  Staying Alive . Its Thursday ,its Kidderminster, once more....
This will be my last missive of my weekly routine  workouts since you have the jist of it by now.I will keep
them very brief each week up to the Easter Bash at SCYC for the Big Rasco Pay Out.

Got there early today and bugger me everyone bar a  couple were all there all, cramped in the waiting room
swopping banter like you do in the changing room without the heaving of sailbags. No ladies though!
Swop the small talk and got into the warm up and learnt  not to be in the front row so as to follow
the routines easier.Introduced to new exercises with weights which obviously  made it a little harder .
The philosophy is "All gain no Pain" which is different to what I have always heard  in the past. Still
the pain is usually the following day where the muscles never used are bound to say hello in their own
sweet way.

The most interesting to me was the stated routine of warm up and cool down after any  exercise. Of course
you readers know all this, but never having had such exercises before nor having had the need because I was  a
"gazelle" until father time, Hereditary and no warm ups caused my series of recent mishaps. So all you Sqogs
take heed if your not  all asleep by now, a few arm curls ,light press ups and the walk to SCYC Clubhouse
to and from the Car Park three times will be enough to see most of you off before racing .

Tommorrow... are yes , The Orthotic Department for better foot support and the Joe (Bolivia here we come?)
